Jamb uses stone from the oldest English quarries to produce our outstanding range of stone fireplace mantels. Several of these quarries were established by the Romans, including Bath, Portland and Ancaster. These rich, natural stones have been carefully carved and worked to produce the mantels in our collection.
Our collection is influenced by the timeless style of designers and architects such as Batty Langley, Inigo Jones, Sir Edwin Lutyens and Sir John Vanbrugh to create the most refined designer mantelpieces from the 17th century to the end of the Victorian era.
All designs are interchangeable. If there a design in marble that you would prefer in stone we are happy to give advice and design consultation to discuss your preferences. Also, anyone of our designs can be reproportioned if it keeps the integrity of the design.
In addition, we offer our ageing service. All our stone can be lightly or heavily distressed according to your preference.Contact Jamb
